Moodboards, Murals & Messy Middles
Just a little mix of what’s on my desk and on my heart: From brand calls to bedtime podcasts—plus the mural I haven’t painted (yet).
Hi hi,
I've gotten some good feedback from my weekly emails and thought I'd go a little deeper today and put it over here, too!
This is going to be a bit of life, business, bts, thoughts, etc.
📖 In My Life Lately:
Since my last pregnancy loss, I decided to make some big changes to my routine. This includes no scrolling before bed, waking earlier, using my new planner to start my day, utilizing clickup and AI more, protein shakes, more greens, movement, etc.
However, lately, I've added something to my bedtime routine and had to share.
For those who missed it in my Instagram stories, I randomly got dermatitis around my eyes this past month. BRUTAL. It's been a challenge to keep it at bay, however I remembered that I bought a red light mask years ago..so, why not give it a try?
I have no clue if it's one of the things helping, but it has created a very calming and relaxing bedtime routine. So, around 8:30 pm, I'll pop that mask on for 20-30 minutes and tune into either a parenting or AI podcast (what a combo, right?).
Which leads me to…
🤖 A Bit of AI
Let's chat about AI real quick. The way it's evolving right now is wild—one podcaster said it’s comparable to the invention of the lightbulb... BECAUSE it's something that will change how we live life forever.
Last week, the new image model of ChatGPT was released, and it's insane. It's scary how quickly we went from messy, non-words to this and extra fingers a few months ago to this (so realistic). I can see how a marketing company can feel the pressure.. concept, art, photography, and video is now quickly done within minutes.
My question is: If and when will my job be deeply affected by AI?
I’m doing what I can to embrace this unknown and learn it right now because I want to make sure I can adapt as it evolves. Especially when it comes to graphic design, websites, and branding. Because, yes.. It's scaring me a bit.

👀 Peek Behind the Scenes
This week, I’ve been working on three brand projects, one of which is for Northfolk (dreamy!).
Here's a peek at their inspiration:
Here's a little mockup I made in Sora for them! See, AI can come in handy for some quick, on-brand mockups
🎨 Creative Spark & Studio Vibes
Here’s what I’ve been Pinning lately: warm colors, vintage fonts, layers on layers. It’s no surprise—with warm weather approaching because my pins always seem to get brighter this time of year.
📆 Weekly Edit & Updates
Did you see this Update w/Flodesk + Canva!?
The Kate Spade x Target Collab: I'm going to be honest here. I've always wanted to own something from Kate Spade, but it was always just too $$. I would walk through the store and just envision myself holding a cute, colorful clutch as I went out for cute cocktails with my girlfriends. That dream never happened (which I’m totally okay with), but the idea of it in my head was something I would try to ASPIRE to. And yeah… That is definitely not something I dreamt about with Target. So that’s why this felt like an unexpected collab. However, I will be getting something; it’s too hard to pass up ;)
🌙 What I'm dreaming Up
A big blank wall in our bedroom and the courage to finally start painting that landscape mural I’ve been stressing (and dreaming) about - You can peek here at that process.
🆕 New & Noted
This week, I've had a few brand consult calls from businesses who are just getting started, and it reminded me that starting from scratch is so overwhelming. Uploading logos, knowing how to use your brand files, setting up social templates—it’s a lot. That 'middle' part between brand completion and launching can feel messy and intimidating!
So, my question for you: If you could have me help you, what would that look like (even think about when you were just stating out).
Would it be little trainings? Maybe a 30-day design support add-on (kind of like my retainer)? Checklists with simple tutorial videos?
I’m so intrigued to know if there is a way I could help fill that gap in the industry between getting a brand and putting it out into the world.
Love your designs! Your aesthetic is very inspiring. If someone had no interest in creating a website or logos they would after being on your page. I personally am starting out and you are right about it feeling extremely overwhelming. I would take interest in some sort of series like a course learning branding and design especially for your niche.
Sora sounds so interesting for mock-ups! I've been seeking new ways to help conceptualize brand applications for clients, so looking forward to giving this a try :)
